Fixing broken Lenovo ThinkPad T460s Display Holds

We got 3 Lenovo ThinkPad T460s models where the display case broke off the hinges. With 5mm drills, through the case and M5 counter head bolts we could fix the working screens (still connected wires to the mainboard) with aluminum angle section as shim.

fixed display but with female screws inside which didn’t fit

I used some alu angle sections as shim and cut it longer than needed for pimping the case.

I hope I will find better fitting female screws if not cutting female screw threads and post updates here.
